AUF NACH EUROPA!!!!!!!
Since we have been together I adopted the home soccer (football) side from where Anja is from being Hannover 96 (Die Roten).
It really is a match made in heaven as they are a side that has struggled so very similar to my Rugby League side the Parramatta Eels. This season though they have surpassed any expectations and finished fourth in the Bundesliga (best ever result) and as a result will next season play in the Europa League which is just below the Champions League, a terrific feat!
A regular occurence during the season has been an overnight text being sent from Hans giving a full update of all results which has been great. We always worried when no results were received as that seemed to mean that Hannover had lost!
Hannover of course (and this one resident in Adelaide) is in celebratory mode and this video we thought well worth sharing!
Auf Nach Europa
So next season can't come quick enough!
